SSC GD Constable Examination 2024
The Staff Selection Commission conducts exams for many central government posts. Under this branch, exams like SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL), SSC CPO, SSC GD, SSC CHSL, SSC MTS, etc. are conducted. Each examination serves a purpose for different branches of government. SSC GD Constable Vacancy, Salary and Basic Allowance
The Staff Selection Commission has released around 24146 vacancies this year. There is a tentative number of vacancies. This commission working under the Ministry of Home Affairs has brought vacancies to fill constable positions in different forces of central government. This includes BSF, CAPF, CRPF, SSB, CISF, etc.
The selected candidate will be given a gross salary of Rs 23,527. It includes other basic allowances that all government employees get based on their rank. This amount includes transport allowance of Rs 1224, house rent allowance of Rs 2538, and dearness allowance of Rs 438. However, there will be deductions for pension, CGHS, and CGEGIS which amount to Rs 2369.
SSC GD Constable Result 2024
The final dates have not been released by the government or the Staff Selection Commission. The expected date of result could be April 2024. It will be released in the last week of April 2024. Moreover, the results get postponed in some cases, but the authorities will update you soon if any changes are made to the results date. The final dates are yet to be revealed on the official site. - Go to ssc.nic.in and login to your account.
- Now click on the check results for GD Constable post.
- You will be asked to add a roll number and other details.
- A page will appear informing you if you have cleared or not.
- If you have cleared the exam, then you will be called for the next round.
